commission...

 of course i loved how this painting came out when i first attempted it...

of course i wrote the wrong word (instead, i wrote "create a nice day")

luckily i was able to fix it without painting the whole thing over!

 it is a commission that was born out of the opening of my show

during a conversation with one of my student's parents...

 this one i wasn't so lucky with - i had to repaint the whole thing...

luckily it didn't take too long!

just one more reason to be more mindful...

and present...

and to write things down when they first happen

and to double check...

i like the message a lot...

and was happy to be making art for someone

who wanted a painting that embodies why i paint...
i wonder which one he will choose?!
