kirtan+nature+cheese ring = happy easter!

 last night i went to a 'rock n roll kirtan'

here's my friend jenny looking captivated by the music...

 we sang, danced up a storm, celebrated,

ate cookies and opened up our hearts:)

such amazing energy - everyone was dancing!

it was the first kirtan i've been at that dancing

was a priority and not moved to the back or aisles...

thank you dennis, satya, cliff, eileen, kat and bill!

there were beautiful paintings hanging in the yoga

studio as well... i stole this postcard from the bathroom:)

 and this morning, we slept late...

and had our usual easter celebration with a hike at

bennet's pond.

 i was captivated by the tree art...

 rock art....

 root art...

 upheaval art...

 it was all so beautiful... like it's ready to explode with green

 i wish that this bed of moss was big enough to lie down in!

and of course... a beautiful heart rock... along the path.

and home to make some hard boiled eggs (not boiled, 

but simmered - the best i have ever eaten!)

and something that my mom made last easter...

thank god for freezers:)
