got such a wonderful gift in the mail today...
totally a surprise... and so colorful, it brightened
up my rainy saturday - thank you G.W!
the package was as beautiful as the gift:)
after slowly deconstructing the box
so that i could use the artwork for some other purpose...
most likely an addition to our "powder room studio
collaborative art"...
such a fun one to unwrap!
tada!!! wow. isn't it beautiful? so much time and love
went into making this... it will be the perfect addition
to my altar or a nice reminder in my studio to
love, sing and dance
and a plaid border on the back reminiscent of neem karoli
baba's blanket:)
this also helped my day - a beet, carrot, lemon, mango, kale
home made juice...
how to see the rainy grey day in color - look through some
stained glass!!!
it's been an awesome day so far...
yoga with glenn
errands...
a stop at my favorite consignment store
and two brightly colored finds!
and a kirtan tonight.
hope you are having a lovely saturday too.

A rock n' roll kirtan? I've never heard of one, but what a great idea!
Looks like you had a very enjoyable Easter, and the gift is beautiful... matches the juice, don't you think? :)
i think it's something they made up themselves! each of the musicians plays other kinds of music including kirtan, so they wanted to have a kirtan that reflected that - and to get everyone up to dance, which they were mighty successful that evening of doing...
yes - the juice matched the gift! it's also one of my favorite colors:)
thanks for your comments sharmon, they always make my heart smile...
