today is the lakshmi puja day of diwali
i celebrated this morning by boosting the economy
just a little bit - by purchasing a new bed.
out with the old and in with the new!
but being at the mall (and lowes)
and seeing all of the merchandise to buy
(especially the x-mas decorations)
really got to me...
and not in a good, positive way.
i know that i can't escape this material life,
but i need to find different ways of thinking about it,
or i am going to be driven mad.
so for now, i will focus on the beauty... and the gratitude
and all of the blessings i have in my life.
