15 new paintings for my show in sept.
i think it is going to be titled
"the divinity within"
the idea is that our spirituality/divine nature/god - whatever
you want to call it - is inside of us (and inside everyone and everything...)
these are just ghost images of "form" that remind us of the
characteristics we already have that take us a level higher.

now i just need to figure out how to
display them...
any ideas?
frames, no frames... they are 9"x12" on flat masonite.
thanks for visiting:)

these are lovely. good luck with your show. how to hang things is my endless problem as i often paint on paper and although many people place paper under glass/plexi in a conventional frame, i like mine to hang more like an Asian wall hanging.
I have done a few paintings on foam core and those too are hard to figure out how to hang. i finally decided for one--i took an old painting and am affixing the foam core painting to the old stretched painting.
but masonite--can you do them up in the manner of those pre-made birch board panels which somehow have a fat edge to them?
or maybe if you can afford it buy some pre-made birch boards already in the edges and glue the masonite on top. but if you wanted to spend money, you prob would have painted right onto an already mounted birch panel.
all goes to say i dont know any really good hanging ideas.
have fun, suki
Jennifer, these look like a Divine download...beautiful inspiration and a true reminder to be present to the beauty inside. Congratulations! xo, j
thank you suki - i've thought about placing them on top of simple wooden frames to give the sense that they are like those birch board panels... they will find a way onto the wall - the simpler the better:)
thank you jeannie!
