school is almost here!
i have spent this week in meetings, prepping
my room, unpacking loads of art supplies...
this is the first project i am going to do
with my students. it is a peace flag,
inspired by prayer flags in tibet.
hopefully, the whole school is going
to make them, we are going to sew strands
of them together and give them away to businesses
to promote awareness for
international peace and non violence day
on september 21st.
such a good way to start off the year...
also - i am going to be singing kirtan
and dancing all weekend, each day into the night time...
an even better way to detox from any lingering
negative energy i may be taking into this
brand new year of school.
