it's been a while since i have posted...
pretty much the longest week in
my history of teaching...
last weekend, we had a visit from
my art teacher & friend pema, along with
his daughter tenzin.
we talked until late at night, watching
videos of H.H. the Dalai Lama and eating
whatever was in the ice box
after coming from my art class in williamsburg, brooklyn.
the next day we saw art at the Aldrich museum
took a tour of my classroom
and made dal and soup for dinner...
it was a fun weekend and i learned
about the similarities and differences between
my culture and theirs...
