i watched a documentary called "peace one day" years ago
and even did a project with my middle school kids that was
inspired by it... every september 21st i would remind the kids
to think about it or do a small project (or almost completely
forget about it)... this year, during that monday morning all
school assembly i mentioned it to the whole school... and later
got an email from my headmaster thanking me and urging me
to do an even for it next year...
but now my dedication is even stronger... after watching this
video that documents 8 years of hard work that jeremy gilley
did to change the world... proof that one person can truly make
a difference and that if you are cynical about this issue, then
that is your contribution to it not happening...
i was almost in tears throughout the entire film while
showing it to my 8th grade class this morning...
