dancing shiva and floating buddha

woke up this morning,
fixed up the studio...
gave a private lesson for
a former student who is now
getting her portfolio ready for college...
taught her how to draw an eye -
to really look and drew what she saw...
it seemed like something clicked
and she got excited.

then i painted dancing shiva for a commission
and the floating buddha ended up on
the palette i was using...

i have two more commissions -
an illustration for a kid's magazine
and a painting for one of my student's,
her sitting on top of an indian elephant...
that should be fun!

i also made a song on garage band -
may figure out how to share it....
ahhhh summer vacation has started:)
namaste,
j

Wonderful to learn about positive developments in your life. I learned about your blog from Karin at beyond words. Kindred spirits flcok together like birds of a feather. Your work is breath-taking. As you create, you inspire. The positive energy is felt by people you have never met.

wow, thank you Liara! this new way of sharing my art/life with beings out there keeps me going... as well as reading and looking at other people's musings and art... the two together seem to be the right concoction to feeding my soul these days... your words are kind and appreciated:) peace, jennifer
