Hejewa Adam, a Sudanese mother and rebel who lost her village to Janjaweed militias, is interviewed in “Darfur Now.”
i just watched this movie.
late in the game (as usual)...
i need to get more involved
in what is going on in the world.
i am overly sensitive and
am afraid that if i continue to
learn about the horrible things
that are going on, i will either
crawl into a ball and cry for hours
or want to drop everything and go help.
how do i find a balance between the two?
what do i focus my energy on?
there's just too much going on
that i feel frozen and helpless.
but i am an artist and a teacher...
so i need to figure out what fits
into this life i have chosen
i did some research to find out what the situation is like now.
i found this article:

why is the world so fucked up?
