wow...

ok... i crashed tonight... really needed a break
from making music and painting... so i watched a movie
that was so heartwrenchingly beautiful and inspiring
and i cried throughout the entire thing...
all i can say is "wow"...
and please, please - watch this movie.
am thinking of bringing it in to let my kids watch it at school.
hopefully i will be back in the studio tomorrow:)

what's it about?! glad you got a little break. I'm ready for one, too. I should finish my final pages to the Sketchbook Project tonight, then ahhhh :)

Love seeing the 108 all grouped and stacked together. yummy multiples!!

hey karin,
it's about a professional blind mountain climber who connects with a woman who works at a tibetan school for the blind... she wants him to come meet the kids and he comes up with the idea to take them on a climb to a peak near k2... there's footage of the kids parents, their lives, and how people in tibet view blind people.. it's intense and every scene is gorgeous and so much more! be prepared with a tissue box:)

jenn - so glad to hear from you! you are welcome

hello. i am so happy to have found your blog thru kelly rae's blog. i browsed through most of your entries and i feel so at home. you just have no idea how you have brought me to a place where i could be in touch with the truth in my heart and take courage in expressing that truth (from now on) in my art and music. namaste...

Hi Alpha,
So excited to connect with you! Thank you so much for all you have said about my work and blog... Sometimes I feel as though I am working in a vacuum and don't get a chance to communicate with others about my work... so it is special for you to share your reactions with me. It has taken me a long time to be able to sing and share it with people and I still am shy about it... but we only have one chance in this skin, so we may as well sing out loud and express ourselves the way our souls need to be expressed. Peace to you and I look forward to seeing what you do with art and music!
