happy new year!

even though i just made this
with a heart full of hope for a brand new year
i can't help but feel a bit sad...
just a tinge - and i don't know why
maybe without that, we would not know
what true joy is... when we do feel it
maybe it is just being tired from traveling from
family to family...
maybe it is the realization that firm plans must be
made soon to go to india and i am not feeling a trip alone at this point.
ahhh... thankfully i still have a week off
to be in my studio
hang with will
and gear up for the next 2 1/2 months of
uninterrupted teaching
