i've been having a bit of a rough time lately...
lots of transition going on...
have been painting, drawing in my journal, doing
a lot of kirtan, listening to soothing music, reaching out
to friends, being in the community, and taking sacred
alone time...
it all helps tremendously, but still the sadness
is there. i am learning how to embrace it instead of
hiding from it or getting to upset over it all...
just being with it, caring for it and learning to be
gentle with my own heart and mind...
sending everyone at "occupy wall street" some love
i wish i could be there today for the flash mob kirtan,
but i am not really in a physical or mental space for it right now...

"Struggles" seem to be part of the life landscape... And learning to embrace them like orphaned children, holding then in our hearts seems to be the most healing thing we can do for them, and ourselves. Like with any child they need a *lot* of hugs and recognition. :)
I love your painting "Occupy Your Heart." That just says it all, doesn't it... How easily we forget...
Blessings of Love...
thank you m.m.
yes, a big part of the landscape...
i have been holding the sadness all day... singing to it, sending it love... my sign is a big reminder to me - i may have to get it tattooed onto my arm!

I love your painting "Occupy your heart"! Not so easy to do always I feel :) By the way, I love the Ganesha sculptures, did you make them? Oh Jennifer, now I REALLY want to be your neighbor and learn all that. I have even bought air dry clay to make them, don't have the courage to get started. How I wish I could learn from you! All the best, sending you healing thoughts.
