an amazing two days...

dallas clayton came to my school... he painted with the kids
told his story 'awesome book' by reciting it without the book,
while wandering through the crowd, kneeling down close
to the students - he was so enthusiastic, engaging and inspiring...
his message is 'dream BIG'
micky played a wonderful song - there are no words to describe
the energy he has... he involved the students to sing and make
noises... it was just beautiful...
yes, i am now a dallas clayton groupie:) i hope to one day
take my book on the road like this - so this experience was
even more special than it may have been for my students!
silliness in the parking lot before goodbyes
graham, dallas, art teacher, rubin and micky
and i've been noticing this HUGE heart rock where i park
my car at school. i finally got out and took a photo of the wall
in which it rests...
came home and found this in my mailbox - a gift of a gorgeous journal
and a photo i bought from uma's guesthouse my friend melanie
takes these lovely photos and i couldn't resist adding this one to my
collection of ganeshas...
then off to nyc to do a workshop spend time with shakti durga
and her disciples (and my friends) before they go back to australia...
i miss them already.
this is me giving shakti durga some peace butterflies that
my students made for 'international peace day' to bring
back to her homeland and display... they are doing an angel
day on sept. 21st to celebrate... wish i could be there for that.
 beautiful
beautiful
people... carrie me and sharona...
 matreya's guitar:)
a heart rose petal and matreya's feet...
she says she's not artistic, but i thing this drawing is wonderful...
and this one caught my eye from the street - it was in some cafe
near 'one spirit learning alliance'... i had to snap a photo
on the way home i felt the need to tag the seat with a heart.
i gave the rest of the stickers to a sweet little boy.
this weekend has be incredible so far... and i still have all of
sunday to make it even better!!!!!

so much healing, so much love + bliss, so many emotions,
so blessed.

Amazing is right. So much joy and life in your pictures. I LOVE that vision of you touring with your book in classrooms. Speak it, write it, collage it, live it. Oh, and chant it too! :)

I also love where you park your car. LOL All the hearts you find remind me of a book you may already know:
