this is my newest set of stamps...
saraswati, shiva, kali,
ganesha, ram, sita,
hanuman, krishna, radha.
not sure if i'm done with them - maybe a few more...
vishnu, durga, nandi perhaps?
along with carving these all week (plus last week)
i gave up sugar!!! yes, gave it up cold turkey.
i am/was addicted to the stuff... and decided it was about time.
so i am working through my cravings, mind games,
frustration and other stuff that is coming up with this
whole process in hopes to abstain from it forever.
i know i'll slip up... it won't be easy... but at least
it's a path i'd like to be on. so... no more honey, no more
maple syrup, no more stevia... it made me tired, cranky,
impatient and just downright crazy at times...
i wish i could just 'limit it' or 'watch' my intake of
it so i could continue to enjoy some of it, but moderation
is not my forte when it comes to dessert.
please wish me luck!!!!!!!
hope you all have a wonderful long weekend.
i know i am planning to.
xoj
ram and shiva;)

wonderful stamps. good luck with the sugar. of course there is all the "hidden" sugar as ingredients in just about everything as i guess they think things dont taste good without it, i dont know. be well, suki
thank you suki:)
yes... hidden sugar in everything! i'm not going to drive myself crazy with it, but i will be as careful as i can.
peace,
jennifer
OMG! I had no idea you were carving these yourself!! I am just drooling over these! I recently got my family to purchase a few god/godess wood carved stamps from Anokhi in India. I will be visiting there in July and will pick them up. Here you are, carving them! I started carving simple designs after watching Genine. Yours are intricate! I can draw quite well but not sure about carving such intricate drawings though. Any tips please? Here I go again asking you if you could please do a video tutorial of one such carving? I would LOVE to attempt it at least. I am so inspired to take up carving again!
