after telling the story of how i got this new little

buddha statue as a gift from a stranger

one of my students decided to draw it for her

scratch art project today:) the first one is mine...

the one below belongs to rachel.

i also told them the story about how buddha was

a real man... and they seemed intrigued...

i am so happy to have the freedom to share things

like this with my students.

i had to do a color sample too, so i just did the same

drawing. it's amazing that i get paid to do this...

it feels great to just play with color without

having to think about selling it.
