beautiful carved wooden stamps from rishikesh and delhi...
i can't wait to use them to make things!!! i seem to be
having selective motivation today. lots to do, but all i can think
of is making artwork... and getting my travel journals
out there in print.
hope you all have a productive day today:)

Wow, how cool are those; I'm so jealous! I've always wanted some of those stamps, but I checked them out on ebay and yikes! very expensive! I can't wait to see what you make with them.
By the way, how do you self-publish? Do you use one of those online places, or do you have a program for it, or what? Just trying to figure all that out... Thnaks!
so cool! and the small ones were less than $2 each! i should have gotten more, but these are enough to make some ornaments:)
i am publishing my journal through shutterfly unless i find a better place. i have a children's book that i wrote as well and will probably use lulu.com for that.
thanks for posting!

OMG! I literally have fallen off my seat looking at those beautiful carved blocks, my absolute latest obsession for the last 6 months!! It seems it's easy to find these in Delhi. I will be visiting India this summer, hope to find lots of these in Bangalore/Mysore, I don't think I will be making it to Delhi :( Yours are so beautiful, especially the peacock and Ganesha ones! A few hundred projects/ideas to use them on. They are so pricey on Etsy/eBay....
hi rupa,
thanks for your comments!
i found some of them in rishikesh and the peacock one in delhi at anokhi... i'm sure you will find them where you are going. how is going to india in the summer? i am curious... i've only gone in spring and heard it's so rainy in the summer months... i've tried them on paper, but they don't work well... i think they are just meant for cloth. i've also used them on clay... hope you have a great trip! peace, jennifer
