on a lighter, happier note:)

this was my first teaching by His Holiness the Dalai Lama

 ever! and it was so amazing that it was in mcleod ganj,
where he resides when he is not traveling all over the world teaching.
we weren't supposed to take pics

and they made us go all the way back to our rooms to

put our cameras there, but i have a sweet friend who took

some photos and gave them to us (yay to digital cameras!)

he had special permission...

it was one of his last teachings before he gave up

his political leadership in exile.

now he can give all his time to cultivating warm heartedness,

compassion, resilience and happiness.
