so totally blessed

 i have been feeling out of sorts lately...

just bits and pieces from a larger out of sorts

that has been weaving through the years...

 BUT, today i opened my mailbox

and found all of these amazing gifts!

my sister sent me a couple more of her knitted

hats for the studio sale...

with some brownies, and

beautiful belated birthday gifts...

a gorgeous red and orange bag, a soft cashmere

scarf that i can't wait to wear

and a pair of lavender hue tights!

the neem karoli baba book was from my friend dennis...

it just could not have come at a better time.

the book way on the right was given to me last night

by my friend jeannie, who came to 

drop her awesome peace flags off for the sale

and to have some dinner and catch up.

it is a compilation of julia cameron books all in one.

the other gifts were...

dinner from ancona's brought home by will

a couple of movies

and a heifer catalog - a good reminder

that although i can get pretty sad,

and be in a dark place...

i really do have all that i need and so... so... much more.

this is one of the cotton/silk/merino

knitted berets made by my sis.

she is so talented and i am really excited

to have some of her creations to sell even

though she won't be there.

they are for little kids up to 10yrs old, but

i wish they would fit me... (will even tried one on:)

i wish i could express just how much my mood lifted

today - by singing three hanuman chalisas on the

way home from school,

finding such bliss inducing presents in the mail...

and by eating brown rice veggie sushi

and dumplings while watching a

good movie streamed from netflix ('ondine')

to take me outside of myself...

and my own dark brain.
