a gray day with a bit of color

it was a bit of a gray day today, so we added our own color.

my neighbor and her two children came over

and we made a big mural on paper with brushes, hands,

feet, craypas, finger paint and stickers.

listening to them laugh and slip and slide on the

painting was a blast.

part two of the day was a walk by the pond.

will rode his bike and i wandered and chanted...

found this sweet stump that looks like a buddha sitting.

he has a prime view of the waterlilies...

part three was reading + a nap

i love this new book i am reading by

Radhanath Swami, who i sang with at omega

part four is right now in front of "the burbs"

with a yummy protein filled dinner.

ahhh, i love days off from school, especially

when they are the second day of the new school year!
