cleaning sunday

it only took all morning and afternoon, but

i finally finished cleaning, organizing and clearing

out the old in my winter studio...

now i am inspired to sit here and i can

breathe deeper knowing where everything is...

i made a new inspiration board too...

this is what i will be looking at while i am

drawing my 35 Buddhas this fall + winter...

the top painting was done by one of my students

last year. he send me a thank you letter over the

summer. there's also a photo of suraj from vrindavan,

a drawing by pinky - the little girl ria and i met

in varanasi... a drawing of an elephant by my niece

and my very first Buddha drawing ever!

here's a photo of my framed white tara thangka painting,

which lives in my quiet little nook for now.

and an ever growing group of magnets i have been

painting with leftover paint...

i heart metal doors:)
