kirtan + mehndi

my first ever kirtan at our house!!!

it was so much fun... 

for one moment while singing "hare krishna"

i forgot i was living in the suburbs of CT

and was transcended to a whole different place...

i did mehndi for 5 women (and one arm tattoo for bill)
and we had a lovely potluck prasad afterwards...
with homemade samosas, gluten free yummy scones,
pasta and iced chai.

it was the coolest party i have ever thrown here...

even though i was really tired, i stayed up to give

myself a little swirly ganesh.
