have been busy...

cleaning the house... rearranging artwork...
putting things away... getting ready for the
kirtan i am hosting.... and the beginning of school...
just a little view of where we spend much of our time...
this is a sign from a community art center i started
years ago in frenchtown... glad i kept it!
the sage i dried for days... wrapped into little
smudge sticks to get rid of stagnant energy in the house...
this is the first drafting table i ever owned.
my dad got it for me to bring to college my freshman year...
for some reason i am feeling nostalgic:)
angelo sleeping next to my work table...
our sea faring inspired dining room...
we both grew up with boats and water in our lives
and we are kind of landlocked here...
so every time i come into this room, i feel a bit of peace...
one of will's new paintings... he has been doing a lot of
mermaids too (see top pic for a big green one)
a lazy sunday (after a very hard working week)
the sheep painting found a new home...
haven't been working on too much art this weekend...
just some mehndi designs for my book that i am making to
show to people when they get henna designs from
me to inspire them...
i think it will come in handy.
all borrowed from the internet...
these hearts are my favorite...
since i am still learning and would like to
have my designs feel like India... i am borrowing
these to begin to understand the patterns and shapes
they often use.

hope your days are filled with inspiration,
crossing things off your list, playing
and peace:)
namaste,
j

For some reason when I comment on your blog I forget how to spell ; ) I think I become distracted by all the beautiful art and inspiration here.
