a year ago we started to revamp our kitchen...
butcher board counter/painted pantry shelves/new lighting
and bead board ceiling
slowly but surely, it is being worked on by us...
and when we are done it will look fantastic...
we may even put in new pantry doors with chalkboard paint
on them so we can draw pictures...
all of this work is being done and i am happy about it,
but i feel like there is some darkness there...
like i can see the sun outside, but it is covered
by an emotional thin film of plastic so that
i can't really see the light.
progress in the studio too...
have been asked a few times to make a smaller elephant
painting... so i started this little baby elephant.
...which i could get to some progress inside my heart and soul...

Nice! It's good that you have nice-sized kitchen to start with. Ours is postage stamp size, which is odd because it was an addition to the main house and could have been huge. I guess the people who decided on it didn't like to cook...
