i am grateful for:
1. knowing that i need spontaneous
middle of the week excursions every once in a blue moon
to keep me on my toes...
2. jackson heights - finally found a reason to go!
3. being overwhelmed by stores selling indian things
i had no idea you didn't have to go 1/2 way
around the world to do that:)
4. seeing friends i haven't seen in a long time,
wonderful choegyal + samten!!!
5. the whole neighborhood full of
awesome grafitti on the way to j.h.
6. choegyal's music, momos at a tibetan restaurant
in america...
7. students for a free tibet
and how passionate they are for getting
the voices out there of the artists who are
put in jail for speaking out against
a compassionless government
8. mosaics of krishna playing the flute
9. heartfelt music
10. a neon purply pink pedicure - the 3rd
one i have ever gotten!
11. work in progress, even though
my paintings are calling my name
as i write this... and i am choosing to go
to bed instead of answering.
namaste,
j

great post and adorable toes!
I agree the toes are adorable and love hearing that you're nurturing your artist child with weekly excursions. I do the same, and it makes such a difference in my art and wellbeing in general.
Namaste.

I really love that shot of the building with all that colorful graffiti
seth - have you seen this place in the city? it's on the way to queens on the 7 train - that was just a portion of it - it went on for blocks... so cool...
