i swear, gratitude must be contagious...

i was thinking on my drive to work this morning that

i needed to do a gratitude post today 

and then saw two of my friends' blogs (thanks cat and v!)

that just totally compelled me to look inward

and be thankful for all that i have

i am grateful for:

1. having a job 

2. the winter wonderland i drove through

this morning on my way to it

3. the excitement i feel about my upcoming

trip to india

4. the support i have been getting from

ALL those around me (near + far) for my journey there

5. having over $600 to spend on art supplies

for kids who struggle to get even one hot meal each day

6. being deeply connected to people

7. snuggling 

8. time alone in my office here at school as i write this

9. the fact that i can (most times) see beauty

even in the harsh moments

10. truth

11. all of the color that surrounds me

in my art room on a daily basis.
