today so many wonderful things happened...

at morning meeting, there was an announcement

that a 2nd grader had found a fifty dollar bill

on the floor at school and (since no one claimed it - 

decided, with mom) that it would be a nice idea

to give some of it back to our school as a donation.

part of that donation also went towards 

lunch for the kids i will be spending time with in india.

it brought tears to my eyes as he handed it to me

in front of the whole school... 

 then,

a teacher mentioned that she had some colored 

pencils that she wasn't using and a big colorful ream of paper...

so she brought them up to my classroom and i made

25 journals to hand out with the pencils....

and,

a friend came over tonight to buy a felted bracelt

and said, "i have some extra art supplies left over from

a class i was teaching, would you like to bring them

with you?" 

there is grace everywhere...
