wow. what a weekend...

i am so overwhelmed with gratitude,
so a la valerie style, here's my list...

i am grateful for:
1. (there isn't an adjective in the english language to describe)
the amazing and supportive family, friends and colleagues i have...
2. making new connections with people that i hope will
continue to grow and become part of my community
3. people who buy my artwork despite how bad the economy is,
and even when people don't buy it, they compliment
it with the deep sincerity
4. will, for brewing carriage house studio ale that put
a smile on those who sampled it
5. everyone who came to the potluck and brought such
yummy and healthy food. and that we ate almost
all of it and didn't waste it!
6. three of my current/previous "bosses" showing up to the sale
at the same time - and how wonderful it is that they
(continue) to be part of my support system
7. having so much to be grateful for that i can't figure out
how to put it into speakable communication
8. satya, grace and karen for sending pure bhakti
energy into our home today with their sweet music and voices.
9. & even though no one showed up for the kirtan,
how gracefully, they just called it practice and
played each other new songs.
10. getting to see krishna das, nina, mark and arjun
play tonight days after coming from a 2 month sojourn in india...
their shakti was palpable...
11. patty who just funded a trip for me by giving my
buddha under tree a new home. i am speechless yet again
for her generosity. wow.
12. ria, jeannie, jen and ting - my studio mates
(even though we live miles and miles apart!)
13. being able to dance, sing, sell artwork, spend time
with those i love and have a bonfire all in one weekend
14.valerie for her kick-ass gratitude lists
15. last but not least, that a friend is finding
a way to be positive even through getting
some really scary medical news.
(please, everyone - put some healing thoughts out
to everyone who may be dealing with things like
this in their lives.)
16. how could i forget to be thankful for
chocolate and peanut butter filled BUDDHAS!
(see above hand shot)

The photos are the next best thing to being there - thanks for taking and sharing them all!
Thank you, also, for the healing thoughts, and your gratitude lists. xox
