white tara gold

for those of you who have been following...

i have been working on my White Tara thangka painting

for a really long time...

tonight - i got to paint the gold!!!

that is a big deal to me...

left to do - a bit more shading and outlining,

which are no easy tasks...

nothing about this painting has been easy,

but it's all been worth it.

this photo of all of us women working on

our paintings is priceless...

because in Tibet, (in the past) women haven't been able

to learn this art form.
