was at school all day today, getting my room readyfor the one week of summer art camp i'm teaching...
two amazing friends, patty and karen helped
move all the furniture and lift heavy boxes...
they were AMAZING!!!
normally i would just re-injure myself doing it all,
but didn't have to this time...
this is the far wall with the mac lab and brand new tables...
this is the view of the entrance... new cubbies, and on the otherside of those columns will be sinks...
this is the back kiln room/office/storage space...
this is where my desk will be... so excited to be able to closethe door and go into my office!

i am so excited....
AND sooooo beyond grateful for my two lovely and hard
ass working friends who literally made this possible...
plus all the hard work of the maintenance staff!

i have been teaching here for 6 years of school and 4 summers of camp... i've shared a room with another art teacher, had a room with no sink for 6 months, moved 3 times, had no storage space, had to trek up hill with clay to be fired for 4 years (and broke many student pieces)...... so this is my DREAM COME TRUE!!! i cannot wait to make it mine and put altars in it and make it cozy and inspiring....

I wanted to have music on my blog, but every time I go to a blog that has a song with lyrics, I find it hard to read and comprehend because of the distraction and when I heard the meadow song, my first thought was oh I love it and I bet Jennifer will love it too!!!
