rain, sun, rain, sun... it can't make up it's mind either...
a little tour of my studio today

a mixture of my stuff, will's painting, jeannie's felted pieces,
and a small painting left behind by a student.
the house in it looked like ours, so i kept it.

this is the still life my private lesson student set up and her painting...

a reflection of me... my felted bracelets, om paintings,
and preliminary sketch for my newest commission "girl on elephant"

the shelves that house the supplies i need for my painting,
they are the perfect height so when i am working, i can just
grab a brush, rest my palette...

stage #2 - after transferring the drawing, i paint a light outline
of burnt orange so that i can get rid of the pencil lines...

my elephant keeping me company:)
the one in the new painting is his little bro.

and finally, a spider with her clan in the corner of the room.
are they all going to fly away like in charlotte's web?
and where will they go - they are stuck inside???

Your work is stunning! Thank you for the tour of your studio. I'm glad the rain presented you with the opportunity to look inside for inspiration, but I hope the sun shines on you again very soon.
Best wishes from Wisconsin,
Angela
