more kirtan

(ma chetan & satya)

went to a kirtan last night at yogascape
got to see my friend judith 'moon'
and sing with her and satya franche carlson...
i actually did more than sing... i played my drum
for the first time ever during a kirtan
and danced too of course...
it was a fun night
and we did a summer solstice prayer to lakshmi

it's a long story of people connecting people...
but i was introduced to her and LOVE her voice
and the passion that came from her heart.
sadly, i missed chanting with her, as she
passed sometime in 2008.
but, i got to dance and hear her voice
in haridwar india (via itouch) and that still reverberates through
my entire body when i think of being close to the ganga...
