my
wise teacher
told me to come back
down to earth tonight. but
i am finding that task to be extremely
difficult
to perform.
I am floating
hovering,
not sure
which way
to go,
further
up or down
towards
earth.
he said,
you are
needed
here, but
my
mind is
still there...
this is my first painting back from india
it is acrylic on top of an image i found
in a book about northern indian art.
it is inspired by the daffodils trying
to survive the coldness of spring...
not so much an original drawing,
but a pure expression of what
is going on inside my brain
and heart... i finally shed
tears tonight for the
first time since i
have been
back
