these are the paintings i did on my trip to india...
i tried to work on pages each night to help process
all that i was seeing, feeling, experiencing...
and it helped to decompress from the overwhelming days...
when i started to paint the drawings - i couldn't stop and
opened my journal each time we sat down to eat or rest.
i don't know if they capture the journey, but
it sure proves that art is therapeutic!
thank you karin for the beautiful hand made
journal!!! you are awesome:)

jennifer

Love the journal, can't wait to hold it...touch it.
wow - this is quite the artful India story book. I'll have to come back many times, blowing up each page to spend more time with each of them! Just have to give that initial first wow reaction though :) Beautiful Jennifer - I felt the heart shift in Vrandavan, and the heart breaks on March 26-28th... I feel honored to have been part of the journey via providing you your journal, truly. love Karin
Namaste Jennifer,
I hope you had a safe trip home, an easy transition back into regular life and a classroom of calm and understanding students. I really enjoyed meeting you in Rishikesh and getting to know you and Rea a bit. I look forward to meeting up with you sometime in CT when Alison and I get back from our trip. We go to Torrington often, and may be staying there a while when we get back because we probably will be broke. We could either come down to Danbury or meet in the middle and it would be great for us to grab dinner with you and your husband. Take care!
Namaste,
Andrew
