even though i feel sad to be stuck in between two worlds....
i am grateful for:
unexpected gifts sent in the mail
two full days to do whatever i please
feeling lighter now than i did all day...
a creative outlet even if it takes the place of sleep sometimes
the monks who came to redding, ct to do a sand mandala
stepping into a colleague's quiet classroom to take full breaths today away from the craziness
a career path that stimulates and challenges me big time
the fall crickets outside my window
my soft red and white speckled sweater coat
the time right now to relax

hi richard,
thanks for the positive thoughts about my blog... i will have to check out yours. i'm not available for tea, but i will be at dnkl for meditation classes at some point, and would love to continue our conversation out art/life... it's not every day that i meet a fellow illustration major... peace, j
